GM crops found on UK farms
There is no threat to public health from the big mix-up with genetically modified crops according to the UK government. Ministers confirmed on Wednesday that thousands of acres have been accidentally planted with GM-contaminated seed - but they also admitted that they have known about the mistake for a month.
