Cocaine seizure in Colombia

Colombian officials say they have seized another big consignment of cocaine, the second in two days.

The police in Colombian say they seized half-a-ton five-hundred kilogrammes of cocaine aboard a small plane, in southwestern Colombia Tulua, Valle del Cauca province, and that eight people have been arrested.

On Saturday, the Colombian navy seized a ton of cocaine off the Pacific Coast, and arrested four people off the coast of Buenaventura. Colombia is the world's largest producer of cocaine and a major source of heroin.
