Stars make promise for BBC Sport
Redgrave
Olympic gold medalist Steve Redgrave is one of the legion of stars to appear
Thirty leading sports personalities have joined together to highlight the BBC's commitment to sport.

The film shows each star making a pledge, in imaginitive settings, similar to that of the BBC's renowned Perfect Day trailer.

In the film the array of stars each make a promise about BBC Sport's commitment to radio, television and online coverage.

The competitors who have taken part range from world champion athletes Colin Jackson and Maurice Green, to golfer Jack Nicklaus, World Superbike Champion Carl Fogarty and England goalkeeper David Seaman.

Andria Vidler, Head of Marketing and Business Development at BBC Sport believes the trailer will convince viewers of the corporation's commitment to a broad range of events.

"The 'Promise' film graphically illustrates the broad range of sport supported by the BBC and brought to the nation with a style and quality unmatched in broadcasting," she said.

The film was shot on location, and in studios in the UK and the USA and completed in six weeks.
