Danes suffer Wieghorst blow

Denmark's Euro 2000 campaign has suffered a setback, with the news midfielder Morten Wieghorst will not be fit in time for the championships.
The Celtic star has not appeared for Celtic since 8 April because of a knee injury. And he has now reluctantly accepted there is no prospect of him featuring in the Low Countries this summer.
He said: "I've been trying to get fit for Euro 2000 all season and it's not going to happen so obviously I'm very disappointed at that. "I want to get playing 100% fit and I'm going to use the summer to put the work in and achieve that aim. The last few months have been frustrating for me." Wieghorst was keen to make an impact at Euro 2000 after a mixed time at France 98 when he was red-carded against South Africa during the World Cup group stages in Toulouse.
