Mowlam: "Yes and no" to chairman job
	A new opinion poll puts Labour's lead on the Conservatives at just seven per cent, the smallest gap since the election. Tony Blair's now being urged to appoint a powerful party chairman, capable of co-ordinating sometimes warring factions. Mo Mowlam, currently responsible for the Cabinet Office, came out top in a poll asking who that chairman should be.
