BMW chiefs to face shareholder storm
Shareholders of the German car manufacturer BMW are expected to demand the resignation of the company's top management at their annual meeting in Munich later today. Many investors accuse managers of not acting quickly enough to stop the billions of dollars being lost in BMW's British subsidiary, Rover, which was finally sold last week. A BBC correspondent in Munich, BMW's headquarters, says many observers believe the company chairman, Joachim Milberg, will be leaving soon.
