Afghan minister in Islamabad talks

The interior ministers of Pakistan and Afghanistan Moinuddin Haider and Mawlawi Abdul Razaq have had a brief meeting in Islamabad in advance of official talks later today Tuesday.

The official Afghan news agency said the two men had touched on a number of issues, including the drought affecting parts of Afghanistan.

The main discussions are expected to focus on smuggling, and the return of Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
