Crackdown on forged ID documents

Police in Bath have begun a crackdown on forged documents after a high quality fake passport was seized at a licensed premises in the city.

Pub and bar staff have been told to be more vigilant with the quality of fraudulent ID on the rise.

Sgt Richard Durnford said the police were working closely with Pubwatch members.

Any person attempting to sell or use fraudulent identification would be "dealt with robustly", he added.
