Man critical after city stabbing

A man is in hospital in Bristol after being stabbed on Friday night, police have said.

Officers were called to the College Green area in the centre of the city just after 2300 BST.

The 29-year-old Polish national was taken to the Bristol Royal Infirmary where he is described as being in a critical condition.

Police believe two men were responsible for the attack and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
