The English Premier league football team Manchester United has announced a record-breaking sponsorship deal with the mobile phone company Vodafone.

For four years from next June, Vodafone's logo will appear on the Manchester United kit, in a deal worth thirty million pounds forty-seven million dollars to the English and European champions.
