Gibraltar votes The people of Gibraltar are voting in a general election, after a campaign largely dominated by domestic issues. The incumbent centrist Social Democrats hope to benefit from the colony's thriving economy, and and opinion polls suggest they may win a second term in office. But the main opposition Socialists say the government has not done enough to help workers and the aged.
