Cameroon 3-0 Tunisia

Two goals from Patrick Mboma sandwiched one from Samuel Eto'o during a dramatic second half in Accra.

Cameroon will now meet Nigeria in a star-studded African Cup of Nations final on Sunday, following the Super Eagles 2-0 win over South Africa earlier in Lagos.

The Indomitable Lions broke the deadlock in their semi-final against Tunisia early in the second half, while Eto'o drove home Cameroon's second with nine minutes to go.

Four minutes later Mboma added his second in a far from crowded stadium.

The first half was a poor spectacle with the crowd showing their lack of enthusiasm by whistling as half-time approached.

Tunisia started the brighter with Hassan Gabsi having a shot saved by Cameroon keeper Boukar Alioum.

In the 12th minute Meher Kanzari shot straight at the goalkeeper, while Raouf Bouzaine fired wide five minutes later and Adel Sellimi had a header saved at the second attempt after 20 minutes.

In the 23rd minute Cameroon finally threatened as Mboma fired a powerful header straight at Tunisian goalkeeper Chokri El Ouaer after Geremi Fotso Njitap's free kick.

Marc-Vivien Foe was also booked before firing one chance over the bar while Mboma had a shot cleared off the line in first half injury time.

Cameroon went ahead three minutes into the second half when Tunisia failed to clear a long throw-in.

An attempted headed clearance by Radhi Jaidi struck team-mate Sirajeddine Chihi and fell into the path of Mboma.

The Cagliari player struck from close range shot with a left-foot shot under Al-Ouaer.

Tunisia became less effective as the half progressed with Cameroon looking more likely to score again than concede a goal.

Eight minutes after the opener Rigobert Song combined with the goalscorer to set up Foe whose shot flashed wide.

Sellimi had Tunisia's best chances to get back into it, but Cameroon sealed it in the last ten minutes of the game.

After 81 minutes Real Madrid teenager Eto'o raced past three static defenders to lob the ball over Al-Ouaer.

Four minutes later Mboma caught out the Tunisian keeper with a shot that flew into the net at Al-Ouaer's near post when the goalkeeper was expecting a cross.
