Talks to prepare for EU-OAU summit The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Amr Moussa, has arrived in Algieria for talks on the planned summit between the European Union and the Organisation of African Unity. The summit is due to take place in Egypt in April, although no date has yet been announced. Mr Moussa said on arrival in Algiers that agreement had now been reached on the timetable and agenda, and that only a few details remained to be settled. He said debt and economic co-operation would be the key issues. Mr Moussa is being joined for the preparatory talks by the current EU president, the Portuguese Foreign Minister, Jaime Gama, and by the EU chief foreign affairs representative, Javier Solana.
