Costa Rica snubs Austria Costa Rica has suspended diplomatic relations with Austria to protest at the inclusion of the far-right Freedom Party in a new coalition government. Two of the party's ministers have been linked with statements denying the Nazi Holocaust. The Costa Rican foreign minister, Roberto Rojas said a close watch would be kept on how tolerant the new Austrian administration remained. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
