More bus bombs in Sri Lanka An explosion on a bus in Sri Lanka has killed one person and injured more than fifty others. A second blast damaged another bus, but it was empty and no-one was hurt. Police say they think the Tamil Tigers were behind both explosions, which occurred in Monaragala in south-east Sri Lanka. The blasts follow a series of bus bombings last week which left one person dead and dozens injured. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
