More bus bombs in Sri Lanka Police in Sri Lanka say more than fifty people have been injured in bomb explosions aboard two different buses in the south-east of the island. No group has said it carried out the attacks, which follow three other bus-bomb incidents over the last week. But police say they blame the Tamil Tiger rebel group. The Tamil Tigers are fighting for a separate homeland in the north and east of the island for the country's minority Tamil population. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
