A 13-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of raping a 12-year-old girl.

Police were called to Alford, near Skegness, Lincs, following allegations made by the girl that she had been raped near her home.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire CID said the boy was due to be questioned later on Sunday.
