Azerbaijan angry with Nagorno-Karabakh over visas

Azerbaijan has reacted angrily to a decision by the authorities in the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh to impose entry visas.

A foreign ministry statement described the move as a gross violation of Azerbaijan's sovereignty.

The enclave -- which is located in Azerbaijan but populated mainly by Armenians -- has been at the centre of a long running dispute between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

A spokesman for Nagorno-Karabakh dismissed Azerbaijan's objections and said it should concentrate on achieving a peace settlement.
