Transport priority for Balkans countries The prime ministers of Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro have met in the Macedonian town of Ohrid to discuss cooperation within the framework of the Balkans Stability Pact, aimed at revitalising the region after the conflict in Kosovo. The leaders said their priority would be to improve road and rail connections between the three countries. But the Montenegrin Prime Minister, Filip Vujanovic, said cooperation was hampered by Belgrade's decision to keep the border between Montenegro and Albania closed. The leaders also agreed on a new meeting in Tirana. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
