Racist rugby comment kicked into touch A British sports journalist has been reprimanded for making racist comments during a televised commentary on last year's Rugby World Cup. The Independent Television Commission in London upheld complaints that the journalist, Steve Smith, had offensively referred to a French player as a stroppy little frog. Mr Smith made the remark during a match between France and Fiji, when a French player threw the ball at an opponent in a fit of temper. The television company ITV has apologised for the remark.
