British court rejects Tyson expulsion bid A women's group has failed in its attempt in a British court to expel the American boxer, Mike Tyson from the country. He arrived in London on Sunday for a fight later this month. The group, Justice for Women, was challenging the government's decision to permit Mr Tyson into Britain despite his 1992 conviction for rape that would normally have kept him out. The court ruled that there was no cause to review the government decision. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
