Albright praises US-Mexico cooperation The United States Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, has ended a three-day tour of Latin America in Mexico. She held talks with her Mexican counterpart, Rosario Green. Mrs Albright praised Mexico's efforts to tackle drugs-trafficking, and said the current climate of cooperation between the Mexican and US governments would mark a turning-point in the relations between the two countries. Correspondents say Mrs Albright's comments are seen as an indication that Mexico will next month pass the annual so-called certification process by which the US assesses the anti-drugs efforts of other countries.
