Kosovan refugees found in lorry

South Wales Police The stowaways were taken into custody by police

Six Kosovan refugees were found hiding in the back of a lorry at a motorway service station in south Wales.

The stowaways were discovered at Capel Llanilltern services on the M4, near Cardiff, on Thursday night.

Two men, two women and two girls were heading for Sony in Bridgend stowed inside a Spanish-registered vehicle.

The six were discovered at twenty to nine and taken to Fairwater police station.

They were held overnight until immigration officials arrived on Friday morning.

The relationship between the six people is unclear as they do not speak English.
