Three killed in crashes
The two men who died in a road accident in County Tyrone on Saturday were both from Coagh village. Steven Muldoon, 23, from Annaghmore Road and 28-year-old Adrian Rocks of Tobin Park in the County Tyrone village were killed when their car hit a tree on the Ardboe road near the village on Saturday at 1300 GMT. No other vehicle was involved in the accident.
Three men and three women who were also travelling in the Peugot 306 were treated for injuries which were not life threatening.
The accident follows the death of a Greenisland man, who was killed in a crash in the County Antrim suburb on Friday night. Colin McCracken, 34, from Shannagh was killed in an accident involving three cars and a van on the Shore Road near its junction with Station Road. The accident happened at 1800 GMT. A 35-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were hurt in the crash and were detained in hospital but their injuries are not thought to have been serious. |
