New Caspian pipeline under discussion The Turkish President, Suleyman Demirel, begins a two-day visit today Friday to Georgia where he'll discuss arrangements for a key oil pipeline from Azerbaijan to Turkey. Georgia is reportedly hesitant to move forward with the deal because of Russian pressure. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
