Harrods loses Royal Warrant

The top London store, Harrods, has lost one of its royal warrants - awarded for supplying goods to members of the British royal family.

The Queen's husband, Prince Philip, has withdrawn his seal of approval.

A spokesman said there'd been a significant decline in the Prince's trade with Harrods.

But correspondents say it's thought the Prince has been angered by accusations made against him by Harrods' owner, Mohammed al Fayed - including one allegation that Prince Philip was involved in the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, and Mr Fayed's son, Dodi, in Paris two years ago.
