New South Korean Prime Minister confirmed

The South Korean Parliament has formally endorsed Park Tae-Joon as the country's new prime minister.

His appointment, announced on Sunday, was confirmed by a vote of one hundred and seventy four votes to one hundred against.

Park Tae-Joon, who leads the United Liberal Party, was chosen for the post by the outgoing Prime Minister, Kim Jong-Pil.
