Vietnam accuses China in border dispute

Vietnam has accused China of increasing tension along the two countries' border by encroaching into Vietnamese territory.

Vietnamese officials say China acted unilaterally in building an embankment last year along the Dong Mo river which infringed on land in Vietnam's north-eastern Quang Ninh province.

Correspondents say the dispute follows the failure to resolve the issue by the two sides at the latest round of talks on border issues in Hanoi.
