Indian man ends protest over missing wife

A man in the Indian capitalDelhi has ended a week-long protest perched at the top of a communications tower because of frustrated love.

The Muslim man, Ashraf Jamal Khan, came down after officials agreed to investigate his allegation that a Hindu woman he says he married has been abducted by her family because they object to the inter-religious marriage.

Mr Khan carried out a similar protest last year.
