Israel raids southern Lebanon

Reports from Lebanon say Israeli warplanes have raided suspected Hezbollah bases in the south.

Lebanese security sources said two aircraft fired two rockets into the Iqlim Al-Touffah hills, which are believed to be strongholds of Hezbollah fighters.

The sources said the raids were in retaliation for a guerrilla attack on an Israeli patrol inside the zone Israel occupies in southern Lebanon.

There were no immediate reports of casualties as a result of the raids.
