Trial of Tunisian human rights campaigner postponed

The trial of the Tunisian human rights campaigner, Khemais Ksila, has been postponed by a week.

The delay was ordered after defence lawyers complained they had been unable to visit Mr Ksila in prison.

At the start of the proceedings Mr Ksila, the vice-president of the Tunisian League for Human Rights, said he was innocent and the charges against him had not been proved.

He is accused of disseminating false information and disturbing public order.
