Swazi teachers say exams were rigged
In Swaziland, the National Association of Teachers has accused the education ministry of rigging the results of school examinations which were held during a two-month teachers' strike. The results of the 1997 primary and secondary school final examinations, which have just been published, are the best for the past eight years, The association accused the government of trying to justify its handling of the strike.
