Lynagh quitting rugby

Michael Lynagh explains his future plans (1'15)
Michael Lynagh has announced he will be retiring from rugby at the end of this season.

The record-breaking Australia fly-half will leave Saracens in May to take up a post with a London-based property investment company.

Lynagh, 34, who retired from international rugby after the 1995 World Cup, said: "It is not a decision that I made lightly or an easy one."

The highest scorer in test history with 911 points from 72 matches, he signed for Saracens in January 1996.

At the time, Lynagh said: "I am physically and mentally okay and retiring after the World Cup took a great burden off my shoulders. I hope I can attract more people and more good players to Saracens.''
