Lovesick Indian man spends sixth day at top of tower

A man in the Indian capitalDelhi is spending his sixth day perched at the top of a communications tower because of frustrated love.

The Muslim man, Ashraf Jamal Khan, says he will not come down until he is reunited with the Hindu woman he says he married.

Mr Khan says she has been abducted by her family because they object to the inter-religious marriage.

Mr Khan carried out a similar protest last year.

Onlookers gathered around the tower gave mixed reactions to his protest, which some see as desperation and others regard as a publicity stunt.
