Colombian woman alleges attack at US embassy

The United States and Colombian authorities say they are investigating a complaint from a Colombian woman who says she was assaulted at the American embassy in Bogota by US military guards.

The twenty-five-year-old woman says she was physically assaulted by several guards after she demanded money from them for sex.

She says the incident happened early in the morning last month, after she'd been smuggled into the embassy grounds under the seat of a van.
