Polish fan died because of blows to head
A second autopsy report has confirmed that a thirteen-year-old Polish basketball fan died as a result of blows to the head. The death of the boy Przemek Czaja earlier this month led to several days of rioting in the northern Polish city of Slupsk. Riots broke out after the first autopsy report suggested the boy died after bumping into a post and not as young fans claimed from police truncheon blows. The BBC Warsaw correspondent says the riots represented some of the worst scenes of violence since martial law in the 1980s and have led to a great deal of criticism of the police.
