Three dead in Kenya ethnic clashes

Reports from western Kenya say three people have been killed and twelve wounded in clashes between ethnic Luos and Kisiis.

Police said one Luo was killed on Tuesday and two Kisiis died overnight in clashes over disputed land and political differences.

Local Kisiis reportedly said Luos were angry with them because they didn't vote for a Luo candidate in last month's presidential elections, Raila Odinga.

More than twenty people were killed in the area in the runup to the vote.
