New trouble in Harare

As businesses reopened after yesterday's riots in the Zimbabwe capital, Harare, there were reports of new trouble in the southern area of the city.

Police are said to have used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse people attacking a bakery.

Yesterday's trouble broke out in protest at a steep increase in the price of the staple maize meal.

The government ordered the increase cancelled.
