Arafat talks to President Mubarak in Egypt
The Palestinian Leader, Yasser Arafat is in Cairo, where he has discussed his ideas for reviving the Middle East peace process with the Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak, and the Prime Minister, Kamal al-Janzuri. Mr Arafat is on his way to Washington for a meeting with President Clinton on Thursday. He is also to stop in Paris for talks with President Chirac. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
