Sumatra crash victims buried

A mass burial for victims of the Indonesian air crash last month has been held in the Sumatran capital Palembang.

More than ninety coffins were laid out at the ceremony, but many were empty as the task of recovering all the bodies has proved impossible.

Some of the caskets were filled with belongings of the victims and messages from their families.

One-hundred-and-four people were killed in the crash, in Sumatra.

The plane, a Boeing Seven-Three-Seven, is thought to have disintegrated when it fell from normal cruising altitude into a swamp.
