Bosnian presidency to meet over currency deadlock
A meeting has been announced of the three members of the Bosnian collective presidency, to try to resolve the deadlock over a common currency. Representatives of the international community have threatened to impose a solution if there is no agreement on a common Bosnian currency and other issues. Bosnian government television said the presidency meeting at 1000gmt is to discuss the design of the currency, and of a flag for Bosnia-Hercegovina. It said the Bosnian Serb representative, Momcilo Krajisnik, would propose the candidate for the post of Washington ambassador. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
