Cocaine seized off Colombian coast

The Colombian navy says it has seized about one ton of cocaine from a ship it boarded off the country's Caribbean coast.

A naval spokesman said the vessel was taken to the port of Cartagena, where the cocaine was found hidden on board.

He said the ship was bound for Trinidad.

The authorities say all eight crew members were arrested -- one Colombian, two Ecuadoreans, four Italians and a Croat.
