Clinton finishes testimony on Paula Jones

President Clinton has given sworn testimony at his lawyer's office in Washington concerning allegations that he propositioned a woman for sex seven years ago when he was Governor of Arkansas.

The woman who says he harassed her - Paula Jones, who is seeking two-million dollars and an apology -- was present at the hearing.

Mr Clinton denies the allegations.

It's the first time an American president has testified as a defendant.

The testimony may be used if the case goes to trial as scheduled in May.
