Saddam Hussein to make tough speech
Members of Iraqi youth organisations have demonstrated in front of the offices of the United Nations development programme in Baghdad to mark the seventh anniversary of the start of the Gulf War. President Saddam Hussein will himself commemorate the anniversary with a speech on Saturday. A senior Iraqi official told the BBC correspondent in Baghdad that the message would be, as he put it, very strong. Our correspondent says this is in line with statements by other officials who've made it clear Iraq is in no mood forcompromise in the confrontation over UN weapons inspectors.
