Second British pig hero recaptured

Police and animal inspectors in Britain have captured the second of two pigs which escaped from a slaughterhouse more than a week ago, ending a chase that has gripped the nation.

The pigs -- known as Butch and Sundance -- swam to freedom across a river in the English county of Wiltshire.

Crowds of journalists, police and animal lovers joined the trail.

The pigs' owner has already bowed to public pressure and commuted their death sentence -- promising to sell them to anyone who will provide them with a good home.
