Japanese wives of North Koreans return

Japan has announced the names of twelve more Japanese women married to North Koreans who will be allowed to visit Japan for the first time since they went to live in North Korea.

The women, who left Japan for North Korea between 1950 and 1980 will return to Japan later this month.

The visit will be the second of its kind since fifteen Japanese women were allowed to return for one week to be re-united with their families last November.
