Farrakhan visits Sudan
The black American Muslim activist, Louis Farrakhan, is in Sudan, as part of his fifty-nation world tour. Mr Farrakhan was expected to meet the Sudanese Islamic leader Hassan al Turabi and other political leaders. One report said he had accused the United States of seeking to isolate Sudan's Islamic government in order to stop the spread of the faith in Africa. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
