UNESCO to raise funds to renovate Bolshoi

The United Nations agency for arts and culture, UNESCO, has announced that it is to launch an international campaign to raise funds for the renovation of the famous Bolshoi theatre in Moscow.

UNESCO officials are to meet two of the theatre's directors in Paris tomorrow Thursday to discuss the work that needs to be done.

UNESCO says the full cost of the renovation could be three-hundred-and-fifty-million dollars.
