Wrestling diplomacy as USA set to send team to Iran

In the latest sign of warming relations between the United States and Iran, an American sports team has accepted an invitation to visit Tehran.

According to the official Iranian news agency, the American wrestling federation has confirmed that it will attend an international contest in the Iranian capital next month.

The announcement about the wrestlers comes a week after President Khatami of Iran called for more cultural exchanges between the United States and Iran -- a call which the BBC Iranian affairs correspondent says seems to be bearing fruit already.
