A man has been injured by an explosion in a car in Londonderry.
A fire service Spokesman said the car was alight when they arrived at the scene.
in the Rossville Street area of the city.
The 36-year-old man escaped through the sun-roof and was taken to hospital with burns to his hands and face.
He said the car, a taxi, had exploded when he turned the ignition.
The local Sinn Fein councillor Peter Anderson said it was too early to say if
there is any paramilitary link to the incident.
But he added: "This has caused people in the area great concern because of
the times in which we live."
